CYPHER CULTURE

Geoffrey is the Executive Director of Cypher Culture, a street dance community non-profit organisation. Cypher Culture is a Green Room Award winner for contribution to sector and community, and a Creative Australia nominee for Connect at the Asia Pacific Awards.

Cypher Culture works to build thriving street dance communities and culture. They do this by delivering street dance productions, workshops, community roundtables and sector advocacy. 

His work at Cypher Culture has delivered presentations including:

  • On&On Festival @ Federation Square & Arts Centre Melbourne: A 4-day street dance festival showcasing international street dance theatre exchanges, workshops, club night parties, and sold out battles.
  • Sissy Ball 8 – The Doll House @ Rising Festival: Australia’s largest vogue and ballroom event, celebrating queer, trans, and gender-diverse ballroom communities.
  • City Sessions @ State Library Victoria: Australia’s premiere 2v2 All Styles battle.
  • Dance Battle: Campus Sessions @ University of Melbourne: Australia’s largest tertiary street dance battle, focused on growing the next generation of street dancers.
  • Point Breaker Battles @ Australian Open: Reaching huge crowds at Australia’s grand slam tennis tournament.
